Outside of radio, tracks will only play for 30 seconds unless you borrow them. 'Borrowing' a track means that it is stored on your mobile device and can be played even when you're offline.
The number of borrowed tracks you can have at any one time depends on your subscription type.
Overwhelmed by all the great music you've discovered on Bloom.fm? Don't worry, all Bloom.fm members can organise their favourite tracks into playlists (although Bloom Zero members can't actually listen to their playlisted tracks for more than 30 seconds).
Looking for artist recommendations? Just tap our "discovery" flower to explore artists similar to the one you're currently listening to.
Brit Pop, Prog Rock, Dubstep, Twee - just pick a genre you like and start listening. You can listen for as long as you like, whatever your subscription type.
The more you use Bloom.fm, the more customised our radios become to your tastes. Add your favourite artists to your profile to speed up the process.
Every artist on Bloom.fm has a "related radio" button on their profile page. Tap this button to play music that's similar to that artist (for example, you could choose to play music that's similar to Bob Dylan's). It's a great way to discover new music of specific style.
On most of our subscription types, you can search for any song in our enormous catalogue, tap the 'borrow' button, and then play it as much as you like. On Full Bloom, the "keep" step is optional - you can play all tracks as much you like, without having to tap the "keep" button.
On Full Bloom you only need to 'borrow' a track if you want to store it on your mobile device for convenient offline playback.
